Interesting new research on Nato and neutrality. 52% of Irish people surveyed support joining Nato while 51% are in favour of joining an "EU army" (presumably meaning an EU common defence agreement but I'm not sure) 1/6 Yet 63% agree with the sentence "Ireland remaining neutral is important to be me", indicating perhaps there's a subset of people who believe neutrality and Nato membership are not mutually exclusive? 2/6
