Remember one thing. “Muslims could not reconcile to the loss of political power, first at the hands of Marathas & Sikhs and then at the hands of the British”. So, after downfall of Mughal empire, they started re-organising & reviving their faith & politics to gain ascendency.
Post Operation Bluestar and after assasination of Indira Gandhi, Khalistani terrorists both in India & USA/CANADA planned to assisnate of Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal, to blow up India’s Nuclear Reactor (Pakistani imprint), bridges and public building in 1985.
So, Charan Singh had already come out of Janata Party (created after lifting of emergency and hosting of election in 1977), and had formed his Lok Dal Party. After Indira’s Congress pulled its tactical outside support, his govt fell short of numbers and went out of office.
Congress system worked though connections. Families passing on the friendship several generations down the line. One such connection was Siddharth Shankar Ray, Congress Chief Minister of West Bengal & Indira Gandhi. He & Indira shared family history. CR Das & Motilal Nehru, their grandfathers, were together in 1922. Both, Ray & Indira studied together in UK.
Remember when Rajiv Gandhi, who had no knowledge of Rural India, startled the farmers by urging them to plant RED CHILLIES instead of GREEN CHILLIES. It made people laugh their lungs out. Sharad Joshi in his satirical book “Jaadu ki Sarkar” also mentions it. 
While India negotiated its freedom from British Raj through transfer of power on a high table, China was embroiled in a Civil war between rivals, each looking to refashion China in its own imagination. Unlike India, victor in this civil war had complete control over how it wants China to proceed in future.

It mainly catered to landless laboueres from SC community. It had underground Armed bands supported by overground Indian People’s Front (IPF) to mobilise ppl.
On 20th Jan 1948, 6 men tried to assasinate Gandhi in Birla House. Digambar Badge & his servant Shankar were to shoot Gandhi, while Madanlal Pahwa a refugee from Pakistan was to throw Bomb on crowd for distraction. Godse & Apte were to keep watch from outside. 2/n

Deapite his democratic & fabian virtues, Nehru relied on Landed “upper-caste”, patronised SCs & curated “Nationalist” Muslims. And this electoral formula was to be seen across states. Bihar, was thus, no exception.
From Operation Crossbow during Indira to Operation Green Hunt during Chidambaram to Operation Black Forest of Home Minister Amit Shah, the evolution of Red Terror & success of Indian state in neutralising it is a saga that will be embedded in our memory.
Someone told Rajiv Gandhi that a new attraction is in Sariska National Park, in Alwar Rajasthan. That attraction was WILD DOGS. So, prime minister's office made frantic enquiries about it and thus it was decided that Rajiv Gandhi will conduct Cabinet Meeting at Sariska National Park.😀

To understand this, you need to know that Prof. Ali Khan Mamudabad is son of Amir Ali Mahmudabad & Grandson of Raja of Mahmudabad. His grandfather was a vehement supporter of Jinnah, Muslim League & Pakistan. He gave his palace in Kaiser Bagh Lucknow to Muslim League in 1937. He was treasurer of ML.
