Johnson trial 11/10/25
Judge pitman starts the hearing off by stating that he is too busy to deal with the shenanigans of this trial and that he is essentially on his lunch break. Johnson is again representing himself pro se.
At least one other reporter and someone who looks like a groyper showed up for the hearing.

A thread on today's trial for damages in the court case against Charles Johnson.
tl;dr: Johnson would end up being on the hook for around $70 The judge started off by mentioning he was very disappointed with Johnson's actions during the trial. It should also be noted that Johnson still did not have a lawyer and instead chose to represent himself.

UPDATE: I attended today's hearing for the lawsuit against Chuck Johnson.
Spoiler: Johnson was hit with more fees. Fees that would have been avoided had he initially complied. (1/15) Johnson (surprisingly) appeared in court today, still without counsel. The judge announced that two issues were to be discussed.
1. Johnson having not paid his portion of mediation fees ($5,000).
2. Johnson failing to comply with court ordered discovery and turn over requested documents and information.

We've obtained screenshots confirming political influencers are being paid to promote selective political and special interest messaging for specific candidates. These promotions appear exclusively focused on Texas but not limited to influencers who reside in Texas. #txlege 🧵1/8 Image Messages obtained show $ in exchange for promoting Texas AG Ken Paxton and candidate for Harris County Judge, Alexandra Mealer. Tweets sent by influencers contain no paid promotion disclosure or requirement to provide disclosure, both which appear to violate Texas Election Code. Image
