CUNY struggles are national struggles.

As the university likes to celebrate, we are the largest urban public university system in the country. Many students are first-gen, with migrant status, working class, and people of color.

And NYC has been one of the covid19 epicenters. CUNY workers & students were already overworked & underfunded *before* the pandemic.
