I've noticed a bit of confusion on this site about Gerrard's (now infamous) recent #longCOVID research study and how it relates to the findings he published last year. Here's a bit of clarification (thread)
The findings that got all the attention 2 weeks ago is from a @ESCMID conference presentation, to be delivered next month. According to the press release, he will report data from following up people who had received a positive PCR for C19 or flu, ONE YEAR after the test.
