NEW: We are filing an unprecedented civil RICO lawsuit to dismantle a fraudulent slumlord empire in DC.

The Razjooyans spun a web of brazen fraud and severe housing neglect that exploits tenants, lenders, and the District — and worsens DC's housing crisis.

We will shut it down. Together, Sam Razjooyan, Ray Razjooyan, and Houri Razjooyan have acquired dozens of apartment buildings in DC.

They have no interest in their upkeep.

Instead, they are using the buildings as bait to secure more and more loans in a Ponzi-like scheme to line their own pockets.

NEW: We are suing the owners of two Deanwood apartment buildings for dangerous and inhumane housing conditions.

Tenants face trash piles, flooding, mold, rodents, collapsed ceilings, broken locks, and crime.

The blatant disregard for DC residents' health and safety stops today.Image 5128 and 5134 Sheriff Road NE have just 25 total units.

But combined, they have been cited by @DC_DOB at least 30 times in four years for more than 100 housing code violations.

The owners are aware of the persistent dangers at these properties but refuse to address them.

NEW: We are suing the federal government for polluting the Anacostia River for 150+ years.

The US government has treated the Anacostia River as its dumping ground for toxic waste and chemicals.

We are fighting to hold it accountable to clean the devastating pollution it caused. Image For over a century and a half, federal facilities along the Anacostia River have been releasing dangerous toxic substances into the water.

The substances include cancer-causing PCBs, noxious heavy metals, and dangerous pesticides that poison our ecosystem and harm human health.

NEW: Amazon charges 48,000 DC residents in Wards 7 & 8 for full Prime membership while excluding them from Prime delivery benefits.

Amazon failed to inform customers they were excluded.

We are suing Amazon for deceiving DC residents into paying the same price for worse service. Image Amazon often promotes its same-day, one-day, and two-day delivery speeds in its Prime ads.

But in 2022, it secretly decided to stop using its trucks to make Prime deliveries in ZIP codes 20019-20020.

Instead, it would only service these areas with third-party delivery services.
