Hey everyone (and by everyone, I specifically mean Blue Jays fans in this case), I thought, with Buck and Tabby calling the game today, and with me getting a bunch of questions about this, it might be a good time for a thread on some of the particulars for... ..our broadcasts this season. If you're the kind of person who is into behind the scenes broadcasting stuff, this thread is for you! If you're not, no offence taken😆. So...with the Jays being the only team facing a border issue, our crew has some unique challenges as well...

A brief how's-this-going-to-work thread on calling games in a pandemic...as you know, we'll be in a studio with lots of monitors. The biggest one will show us what's called a neutral or clean feed, which is what the other team's crew will produce when the Jays are the visitors. They'll add in their graphics with their announcers for their show, we'll add in ours for our show. Each home crew has been instructed to shoot a 50/50 game, meaning show the other team's players as much as you show yours so that the visiting team's show sees its players too.
