Biden is calling for a “permanent cessation of hostilities” even before Hamas’s downfall, and is effectively guaranteeing that they shall never be removed from power.
There’s absolutely no way in hell that Israel made this proposal — despite his assertions to the contrary.
Biden: Hamas can’t anymore threaten Israel.
This is a total lie.
He’s denying Israel’s security interest to continue fighting Hamas.

Since the October 7th Hamassacare, in Israel there’s markedly less support for a Palestinian state. Of course.
Yet the White House and State Dept have chosen to trumpet the need for a Palestinian state.
Let’s try to explain why that is, and the impact it’s having.
Washington is trying to project a ‘nuanced’ position.
While supporting Israel’s right to self defense, it is supporting the right of Palestinians to self determination.

We are two weeks since
the Hamassacare; so let’s assess the state of the Hamas war:
The 10/7 holocaust has united the Israeli public to extraordinary proportions.
It has effectively wiped away the political left in Israel — certainly as it relates to Hamas/Gaza.

The Israeli public woke up on October 7th to a new reality.
The Hamas/Gaza threat has now been realized to be an existential threat.
Hamas has managed to capture more than 30sq miles of territory, and kill around 1800 while injuring more than 2,500.

The framework actually works well.
To the Americans they can frame it as a way to lower temperatures with Iran — something Washington certainly supports, but at home it is more about getting Beijing more entrenched and hedging against Washington’s disengagement and realignment.
Saudi Arabia is asking the U.S. to provide security guarantees and help to develop its civilian nuclear program as Washington tries to broker diplomatic relations between the kingdom and Israel wsj.com/articles/saudi…
Saudi Arabia has long (publicly) maintained that its nuclear capabilities should match that of its archenemy Iran.
For Washington to be opposed to their program while enabling Iran’s, is totally nonsensical - nor will they be stopped.

There’s been lots of focus on the discriminatory nature of the New York restrictions, and their thuggishness.
But not enough was said about the manipulation of the statistics/numbers, so let’s do that:
At first they were going to be specific zip-codes nytimes.com/2020/10/04/nyr…
Then Andrew Cuomo decided to make the lines based on what he said were the “cluster-zones” nypost.com/2020/10/06/cuo…. These red-zones mostly followed the zip-codes, with minor adjustments to include specific Jewish neighborhoods, while excluding non-Jewish sections. (((Yes, !!!)))

We Orthodox Jews in NYC have been all the rage for a few weeks now, and I gather most people outside the community have no idea what’s really transpiring here, so allow me to try to clarify some stuff for you all.
The Jewish community here is very big, and consists of hundreds of congregations. Each can be different. Obviously I can’t give an accounting for all, but I’ll try to give a general explainer on the broad happenings with COVID and the restrictions impacting religious life.
