As we all know, the Hindu caste system is founded more on birth than on the profession that a person chooses to pursue. The brahmins (founders and beneficiaries of the caste system) divide us into four different castes: Shudras, Vaishyas, Kshatriyas, and Brahmanas. In light of these, Dalits are seen as the least important and untouchable, hence they are typically settled in rural and slum areas.
