This is the kind of ignorance chronic pain patients face every day. Mr. Mann, you don’t get to decide whose pain is important based on your personal prejudices. Some CPPs w/ lower back pain need safely prescribed opioids. Many disabled/chronically ill pts can’t get needed meds.

Prescribed opioids are approaching a 10-year low but opioid deaths continue to skyrocket. The problem is complex & you haven’t bothered to understand the facts. Most opioid deaths involve illegal opioids or stolen/ diverted meds. Many cancer, sickle cell, & CPPs can’t get meds.

Is this what happens when ignorant politicians demand that stable chronic pain patients have their opioid pain medication abruptly discontinued and the patients are destabilized?
