Keep coming back to this. 2 former Rams execs just signed off on a deal for Goff and his $$. They know him. No guarantees but it’s a calculated risk they took for what I’d guess was an additional 1. They were going to get draft picks regardless. Some sooner and prob higher. What they weren’t going to get was a 26 year old qb who has had some success but has also struggled. Campbell’s on record as saying this will take time. Why not kick tires while you fix other issues?
Zero guarantees he works out but at worst you have a gap qb and maybe better.
