And this get's us back to the F-35 and it's dogfighting capabilities. We have finally come full two-circles and this gives me a chance to talk about the Dalek video.
There are a couple of arguments that are made in this video that I do not think are very well researched. In this video the author makes the claim that the F-35 is designed to dogfight.

In our last segment we spoke a little about energy maneuverability theory and John Boyd. Now we need to look at the F-16 and F-18 and how they approach the overall maneuverability problem in different ways.
It should also be noted that both planes are spawned from the Lightweight Fighter Program; and that John Boyd and the reformers will claim to have designed the F-16. These claims are disputed and once again I think John Boyd claims much more credit than he deserves.
