Thread 🧵 Arab states should be municipalities within a larger Arab federation that unites them along social, economic and political lines while maintaining their own local government & identity.
Hypothetically Jerusalem & Mecca would be the holiest cities & Baghdad our capital, with Cairo & Damascus as follow ups within a broad linguistic & geographic empire. 🕌🕍⛪️
