South Donetsk front
For a few days 'Peaky Blinders' UAV team of🇺🇦NGU 2nd unit, Special Purpose Center OMEGA have reported that the🇷🇺offensive stalled [in parts of Sth Donetsk].
They claim that drones stop 80% of attacks, exampling this with 19 KIA they claim from yesterday alone. Image

1.🇷🇺155th Naval Infantry Bde POWs captured in Kursk Oblast
First 2 POWs from the 155th. I'm not sure if this will turn into a thread or not, considering the recent infamy the 155th brought on itself with🇺🇦POW executions.

After a wait and many recent films of KIA from the infamous 155th, this finally turns into a POW thread.
UAF 47th Mech Bde report the capture of an assistant grenade launcher from the 155th, who reportedly witnessed the execution of 2🇺🇦POWs near Glushkovo at the end of September.
Allegedly the order for the execution of the🇺🇦POWs and the subsequent removal of their heads came from commander of the unit. Reportedly this POW has also named the direct perpetrators of this war crime.

1-8. Mykhailivka railway bridge battles.
30.08, a reported tank from🇺🇦15th Brigade of Operational Assignment 'Kara-Dag' destroys a🇷🇺BTR-82AT while🇷🇺infantry are engaged from the SW.
Maybe an AT mine or shell, as the hit is out of the LOS of tank in tweet 4. 2-8. Mykhailivka railway bridge battles, Approx 30.08.
While the🇷🇺BTR-82AT destroyed in tweet 1 still burns 🇺🇦15th Brigade of Operational Assignment 'Kara-Dag' shows 3🇷🇺infantry casualties. One sits, perhaps with stomach wounds, 1 moves his foot, the last seems still. We will see them closer in the next tweet.

SW of Avdiivka, 23.08.23.
Must watch. Intense combat scenes as the recce Company of🇺🇦59th Motorised Brigade (made up of Ukrainians + foreign volunteers) storm RuAF positions on height 105-106.
They succeed, inflicting 22 KIA + 2 POWs on the RuAF, for the loss of 2 WIA + a HMMWV. A link to full HD version film, with a 2nd part analysing the battle with English subs.
The foreign volunteers are reportedly from America, Canada, Sweden and Japan - from the well-known 'Chosen Company' of the 59th.
I also hear Irish, English and Aussie or Kiwi accents in the film.

1. New Thread/Oleshky
Rybar reports on evening 16 OCT 4 groups from🇺🇦35th + 36th Marine brigades + 140 Recce Batt landed at the small UAF bridgehead south the destroyed railway bridge over the Dnipro; aim to advance on Oleshky, Pishchanivka + Poima.
Further on 17 OCT p.m. the marines broke through and captured Poima. After receiving reinforcements they reached the northern outskirts of Pishchanivka (as reported by Rybar tonight).
Rybar also reports UAF preparations for several more crossings aimed at taking Pidstepne and Kozachi Laheri further to the north east.

🇷🇺TG has for weeks picked up that🇺🇦marine units were concentrating so should not be a surprise.
Also 36th Marine Bde's 501 Batt has just conducted a FPV strike in Poima on a UAZ-452.
If Rybar's map is correct this area is now UAF.

Robotyne.
Last night I was informed by a🇺🇦 source that Robotyne was liberated. Clarification this morning: it occured after 'a small battle at night at the checkpoint at the southern part'. This morning I received confirmation from a seperate source from the area. (Some Ru commentary say similar - see in link). Film illustrative but recent - likely from the east side of Robotyne. 2. As mentioned in the tweet above the film I used illustratively is from the east side of the village. Here is the geolocation. Hopefully some Ukrainian film or pics from the south of the village will come soon.

Now they report that by the 14th, 72nd MR Bde lost a much larger area to the canal - includes the forest.

The optics of this visit are great. I imagine RU mill bloggers will be going nuts - while Putin gives awards to propagandists etc in the Kremlin Palace, Zelensky awards the foot soldiers in one of the most dangerous towns on the front... 2-4. Zelensky's surprise visit to Bakhmut.
Where in or near Bakhmut its a secret, but I can confirm its in the area, as in the various📽️those awarded have patches from units known to be in the area: 57th Motorised, 46th Airmobile, 10th Mountain + 4th Tank.

38th from Brest are doing announced exercises on their home turf. ImageImageImage The point is yes its important to keep and eye on any moves in Belarus, whether exercises or not, but we should carefully choose the language we use to report on it. In this case, there is nothing currently to indicate that this unit will position itself on the border.

Huge crater in a grouping of🇷🇺engineering vehicles. A MDK-3 trench-digger is on its back so probably damaged. Seemingly ok is a UR-77 'Meteorit' mine clearing vehicle, a BREM-1 ARV + PTS-2 amphibious vehicle. Maybe something was in the whole as there's debris lying on the BREM-1. 2. 'Death by a thousand cuts'. The slaughter of Russians by drone drops at Bakhmut continues. Here again around the 'Alfa' gas station NE of Bakhmut (48.620655,38.042645). Aftermath film of partially the same location with the tank appeared a few days back. 2. NE of Bakhmut along the M03 highway again, accurate shelling from UAF 93rd Mechanised Brigade forces the Russians to break cover and flee from 48.607086, 38.068830 @GeoConfirmed. Two KiA can be seen from earlier. Not sure who's the UAZ-type jeep is. Perhaps a few weeks old.
