Dear @TulsiGabbard: You know exactly who Trump is. You knew he is not fit to be Commander-in-Chief. Witness you slamming him for being willing to put our troops at the disposal of #MohammedBoneSawman. And you essentially told him this to his face on Fox News.

Dear ⁦@marklevinshow⁩: Before you bitch about Trump getting a raw deal, maybe you should read about Kalief Browder, who spent THREE YEARS in Rikers before the charges were dismissed. nytimes.com/2019/01/24/nyr… Trump got more due process in three months than Browder did in three years. So shut your piehole about Trump being the victim of a “Democrat WITCH HUNT!”

From a conservative friend of mine who is done with Trump, but wanted to explain why his depravities didn’t turn Repubs off. If this is the case, the GOP is going down the same path that causes collegiate programs long-term damage. (🧵) Besides the obvious—NCAA sanctions that cripple teams for years—the damage can show up in other ways. Look at Florida under Urban Meyer, for instance. Yeah, the Gators won two national titles—but did so by recruiting players of questionable character.

I never thought I’d see the day I’d be defending Trump. But some outright cheap shots from my side of the aisle call for an exception. (🧵) On New Year’s Day, @RonFilipkowski of @MeidasTouch fired off this tweet about the NYE party at Mar-a-Lago.

Some reminders of who @SarahHuckabee really is. (🧵) She libeled @Acosta with a manipulated video to justify yanking his press credentials. usatoday.com/story/news/pol…

Dear @godlywomanhood: Your post about @jingervuolo speaking out about her childhood was so outrageous that I felt compelled to call you on it publicly. thetransformedwife.com/jinger-duggar-… She did not throw Jim Bob and Michelle under the bus. They threw her under the bus when they failed to protect her by reporting Josh’s depravities in a timely manner.

Just watched numerous clips of @RepMTG debating @Marcus4Georgia via @RonFilipkowski’s feed. That woman is utterly unhinged and utterly unfit. No one who saw this could conclude otherwise. I hope this isn’t the last we see of @Marcus4Georgia. Georgia needs people like him. This country needs people like him.

Those claiming that pressing Cloudflare to nuke KiwiFarms sets a bad precedent for a free Internet, like @tealou, @ggreenwald and @heterodorx need to consider that failing to act now can lead to changes later in which nobody wins. Look at how Facebook, Twitter and Google sat on their hands in 2016 as fake news and disinformation ran rampant. In response to the ensuing outcry, they tweaked their algorithms in a way that saw independent blogs get throttled.

There is so much wrong with this article by @heterodorx that it’s hard to outline it all. But I’m going to try. For one thing, @heterodorx, have you considered that how you get a story matters as much as getting it? See Michael Gallagher and Chiquita for an example.

To those concerned about @internetarchive nuking KiwiFarms—fear not. There are likely to be mass arrests very soon. Remember, these clowns doxxed the cops investigating @keffals’ swatting. Any crime against a cop is a five-alarm fire. Plus, they called in a fake bomb threat in Northern Ireland, of all places—and police there are already focusing on a suspect. Expect a lot of hard drives to be seized, and a lot of people singing.

A little analogy to help people understand why @Cloudflare’s initial cold shoulder to @keffals and @ellenfromnowon’s efforts to nuke Kiwi Farms was morally bankrupt. (🧵) Remember when it emerged that Jerry Sandusky remained at large for a decade because Joe Paterno and others merely reported claims of abuse to their immediate supervisors?

After much thought, and with some trepidation, I can no longer offer even lukewarm support of @reachjulieroys’ work. It hurts to say this about anyone with whom I agree in principle. But if she could keep her article announcing @JenHatmaker’s divorce before Hatmaker could announce it even after having time to rethink it, she has an ethical blind spot not unlike that of Gawker or WikiLeaks.

Wow. Based on this timeline, @reachjulieroys inadvertently admitted to—at best—an egregious and potentially dangerous lapse in judgment. She knew or reasonably should have known that @MeganStonerIN was dangerously unstable—and didn’t warn the public. I doubt that this was fraud on @reachjulieroys’ part, as @coconservative7 claims. But whatever this is, it isn’t good.

I know a lot of my fellow pro-choicers are upset about the apparent end of Roe. But don’t take it out on rank-and-file abortion opponents. We need to reserve our outrage for the so-called leaders who took people for a ride, who tugged at their sympathies when they were making a backdoor attack on our privacy.

Let's cut up the Mad Georgian's latest tirade, shall we? threadreaderapp.com/thread/1355537… So if we're not loyal to a guy who literally incited a coup, we're not really American? Good to know.

This is going to be a long and angry rant, so bear with me. When I heard @SarahHuckabee was running for governor of Arkansas, I thought back to her role in arguably the worst Trump depravity before January 6. She publicly tweeted a letter Trump sent to @SpeakerPelosi denying her the use of a government jet to go on a fact finding trip to Afghanistan. One problem--that trip was supposed to be secret for the protection of Pelosi and her party.

This is a bad idea on several counts. I could see making this push if we were doing a better job of vaccinating, but we're WAY behind schedule. richmond.com/news/local/edu… Plus, a lot of districts that tried to reopen had to go back to remote mode again because outbreaks in the larger community left them without enough teachers, bus drivers or support staff to keep the buildings open.

I've dealt with people like @mtgreenee before. I look at her, and I see my former "brothers" and "sisters" in Waymaker. They were willing to remain loyal to a pastor who out-and-out lied to them, and were even willing to continue doing his bidding even though they knew he'd been lying to them from day one.

Dear @EmilyLindin: I came upon this tweetstorm a few years ago, and it's only been recently that I've found the words to tell you just how outrageous this is, as one liberal to another. The cases of men losing their jobs and their freedom over bogus allegations include some of the most ghastly miscarriages of justice ever uncovered. Are we to accept this as collateral damage?

Watching @megynkelly's interview with @ReadeAlexandra. Right now Reade's talking about how Biden touched her in a way that made her feel uncomfortable--as distinct from the sexual assault. But wait a minute. Reade edited her blog post talking about the touching to make it sound like she was talking about the sexual assault. As if she'd been talking about it when she first wrote about it in April. Head spinning already...
