Candyland is a masterpiece of game design that designers should be studying and dissecting as one of the best examples EVER of game design craft for specific audiences. Candyland is such an enduring design we are still playing it (and it's reinterpretations) divorced from its original context.

Prototype assembly time - moved Causality to poker size from mini cards to aid legibility of symbols across the table (cards also currently have explanatory text on them) Cards are printed on cheapest possible copy paper, cut and then sleeves with a Magic card as a backing - different color sleeves for different decks.
