First speaker, from the Glendale Middle Village Coalition:

“Homelessness is their business and the Department of Correction will supply all the customers that WestHab (the shelter provider) want.”

Yikes. Anti-homeless. There are like 1500 people here. That GMVC guy Mike Papa got a rousing ovation.

The next speaker talking about homelessness as a “complex issue” gets booed. And she is an institution in D-5. She’s at every CB meeting and event.
