After press critics piled on the WSJ for reporting on Biden's decline, this is where we were -- the NYTs parroting White House "cheap fakes" line. Any editor who cares about credibility should be seeking viewpoint diversity in their newsroom as protection against a repeat. Newspapers are where universities were 10-15 years ago. An old guard of liberal institutionalists remains -- people who know that. like universities, newspapers exist to report the truth no matter who it hurts.
