Vent time...

I've told bits and pieces of my story, how I chased after the concept of "being normal" like others chased "perfect" because "normal" was a foreign concept to me.. someone with a DSD who had a delayed/non existent sex based puberty because of my condition. I grew up in the 90s, and the 2000s and the social climate where I grew up... let's just say it wasn't friendly to gay kids. Especially for me where I was effectively taught my attraction to girls made me weird, undesirable and what eventually lured me into being trans: "Broken."

Further experience on ROGD, or Rapid Onset Gender Dysphoria which I spoke of at length in regards to how more often then not ROGD occurs in those who are in a fragile place mentally and have some kind of familial issue where the visage of a new identity, or self can be appealing I've had.. many discussions, talks.. personal and on the general chat topics with many who'd be considered ROGD survivors, the emotions toward their parents range from.. fear, disappointment, anger, hatred and sadness.

My urge to go private and tell majority of "allies" to go fuck yourselves, is increasing by the day. Hypocrites, I absolutely hate hypocrisy... Obviously it isn't all of you, some of you DO listen and take our feedback seriously but those that treat us as horror shows to gawk at? Look at yourself in the MIRROR, just ONCE in your life in a negative context. If you talked to your child, saying the surgery will "mutilate them", "RUIN THEM" and that they're "GOING TO REGRET IT BECAUSE WHAT IF THEY CHANGE THEIR MIND" they will cut you out the moment they can.

This will be the "MEGA" thread about the compiled data from the r/detrans 2023 survey, it was a survey hosted on google forms and passed around r/detrans and the r/detrans official discord server. The intent was to collect demographic data on detransitioners using the group. You can view the original thread on r/detrans here, I actually would encourage that over viewing this mess of a thread but honestly this thread exists so you have an easy way of accessing the data on twitter.

Unpopular opinion: No random twitter people who follow detrans in hope of a weapon - I do not think we should force transgender people who are presently happy with their transitions to repress and stop taking HRT. My stances are the following. I think that informed consent as a whole is a horrible concept for transition medicine because you cannot inform to this experimental treatment and its not only questionable ethics but the fact there's minimal long-term understanding of what cross-sex HRT does to the human body.

So I've gotten some unpopular attention and of course my words twisted out of context, namely in posts where I was venting and getting my feelings out, using the word I feel best describing dysphoria in extreme cases like my own. So let's go into: Why I call it gender psychosis. The claims might as well be slander: Claiming that I am calling it gender psychosis to give it a bad name, that I want it to be seen as bad without understanding what psychosis symptoms are. It is precisely BECAUSE I understand what psychosis symptoms are that I call it that.
