A thread of thoughts after seeing "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" for the first time in decades:
First, it is a deceptively simple film. Much more than a "teen movie", it is a fascinating symbolic representation of masculine psychological development.
First, we have to acknowledge that Ferris is not intended to be a movie character like the others.
Instead, he is either a magical, wizard-like creature or a representation of The Trickster archetype who exists as part of Cameron's psyche.

Why contemporary relations between the sexes are so messed up.
A short thread.
The problem starts with men because men lead, the masculine pursues and initiates, and problems always start at the level of leadership.
Both feminists and some of the "redpill" guys will disagree with this, but it's true.

One of the worst things about the manosphere is that it often conveys that there is only ONE WAY to be a man, or that masculinity cannot be expressed differently, cannot look somewhat different as it comes through individual souls.
If you want to reach mature masculinity, you don't have to shoehorn yourself into some limiting stereotype.
