Shahbaz Sharif as CM from 2008 to 2018:
1- He inherited Punjab Govt with Rs 170 billion in surplus in 2008. When he left in 2018 Punjab was in Rs 740 billion debt.
2- First time in Punjab’s history Primary school enrolment dropped by 2%, 7.2 lakh children dropped out of schools. 3- Agriculture growth rate dropped from 6.9% to 2%, lowest in Pakistan except Balochistan.
4- No new hospital was built in 10 years even though Rs 10 billion were allocated.
5- Faisalabad textile industry suffered major shutdown with over 2 million workers losing their jobs.

He was born in Karachi on July 11, 1949 and did his Masters in English Literature from the University of Karachi and then pursued LLB degree at the Sindh Muslim Law College in Karachi. Before joining National Bank of Pakistan he also practiced law. As a banker, he was part of the team that set up the NBP branch in New York City. Later, he moved to London in 1980 as a merchant banker for the Oriental Credit Limited.
Naeem had 35 years of experience in banking, finance,corporate sector and law in Pakistan,London and New York.

نعیم الحق کون تھے؟
نعیم الحق نے 11 جولائی 1949 کو کراچی میں آنکھ کھولی، جامعہ کراچی سے 1970 میں انگریزی کے مضمون میں ایم اے کیا جس کے بعد 1971 میں سندھ مسلم لا کالج سے قانون کی ڈگری حاصل کرنے کے بعد لا پریکٹس شروع کر دی، بعد ازاں بینکنگ سے منسلک ہوکر NBP میں خدمات ادا کرنےلگ گئے. 1980 میں نیشنل بینک آف پاکستان نے اپنی ایک شاخ انگلینڈ میں کھولی جس کی افتتاحی ٹیم کےممبرز میں سب سے نوجوان رکن نعیم الحق تھے.جس کے بعد وہ انگلینڈ میں مقیم ہو گئے اوروہاں بینکاری کے شعبہ سےجڑےرہے.
نعیم الحق کی وزیراعظم عمران خان سے پہلی بار 80 کی دہائی میں انگلینڈ میں ملاقات ہوئی
