Today is a difficult day for the Destiny team. Out of respect to our friends and colleagues, and to give our team time to take care of each other, we are cancelling this week's TWID.
Our focus today is showing our support and respect to everyone who has worked on Destiny during this incredibly challenging time. We want to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Destiny.

Hey everyone. We've heard feedback about certain frustrating elements in Breach Executable, and we have a couple of changes planned for next week's update to improve the experience.
First off, some enemies were hitting a little too hard—particularly those affected by both Void Threat and Air Superiority/Blasts. We want to keep a bit of variety in our modifiers, so because Void Threat is constantly applied, we're removing it from Expert Breach Executable.

Hey everyone, if connection issues have blocked you from playing or enjoying The Final Shape today, we want to apologize. We’re hard at work trying to resolve each of these issues as quickly as possible, and many of the connection issues from this morning have already been fixed.
Some of the issues we’ve been able to address today:
Upon launching the game, we noticed network related sign on issues related to failures in our load balancer machines. We were forced to route traffic around them and partially mitigated this issue within 2 hours of launch.

We've been following feedback that there should be better incentives to stay in Onslaught for the full 50 waves, so teammates don't dip out after wave 10. We're adding two additional weapon rewards to Onslaught and buffing Trophies of Bravery drops to help address this. (1 of 8)
Change 1: A chance for one additional weapon to drop when you complete a wave. The drop chance will increase per wave until you get your weapon, and the drop will be guaranteed on wave 50. (2 of 8)

We’ve got updates on the rollout for the BRAVE arsenal starting April 9, plus some important callouts to highlight just how much loot you’ll be swimming in during Destiny 2: Into the Light.
First up: we’ve seen the feedback on releasing an additional weapon each week after the first six drop on April 9, and we’re condensing the schedule to release everything by April 30th, rather than May 21st.

Morning, Guardians! We missed some patch notes this week.
Here's an update 🧵
1. When Ashes to Assets and Hands On are equipped, players will only receive Super energy from one of the mods, not both.
Cont'd: When Firepower and Heavy Handed are equipped, players will only spawn one Orb of Power, not two, when killing an enemy with a grapple melee.
2. Grenade Kickstart will no longer activate when grappling to a grapple point (and thus not expending any grenade energy). 🧵

We’ve been working quickly to build several new community-focused updates with the goal of making the Destiny 2 experience even better for everyone heading into Lightfall.
Some of these were moved up from Lightfall’s launch for players to enjoy sooner, while others are all-new.
