In 2009-2010 the @OregonTeaParty flooded into the @Oregon_GOP county parties, swelling the PCP ranks, occupying delegate seats, and leading several counties toward vibrancy and victory. The 2010 general election brought a 30-30 split in the Oregon House.
The Tea Party united around smaller government, lower taxes, and more individual liberty. Many of what we called the "establishment", or GOPe were not thrilled with our arrival but we kept showing up, doing the work, and transformed the #ORP into a more conservative organization

@FNC_Jobby2@Bubola After visiting with my family in Scotland, I found my teenaged self in London waiting to catch a ferry to the continent. As any good American teenager of Scottish decent would do while waiting, I hit the bar nearest the train station.
@FNC_Jobby2@Bubola It was one of those 500 year old pubs with plenty of beer and people. I was always a rather gregarious drunk and soon met and was drinking with George ans Sherri Innes. George was a famous British actor and Sherri was his American wife.
