Yesterday morning, on the way home from grocery shopping, I glance over at the bus stop and notice a woman's large wallet and umbrella unattended on the bench. I immediately pull over because a kinda sketchy dude is walking up and eyeballing the wallet as well. I tell Mike what's going on and he gets out to grab it. The wallet has a woman's ID, social security card, multiple bank cards, and $400 cash she had pulled from the ATM across the street about 30m prior. Thankfully, she lives just down the street so we head over to return it.

Joshua and Stephanie Mast lied to kidnap a baby from its family. These people should worry about their souls.

"This is a story about how one U.S. Marine became fiercely determined to bring home an Afghan war orphan, and praised it as an act of Christian faith to save her." You are not saving children, especially non-American children, when you use your privilege and wealth to take them away from relatives who want to raise them. This is disgusting, depraved behavior.

This is my most controversial and correct opinion. These events collectively (especially 2-4) completely destroyed people's faith in government and solidified the fanaticism around 2A + Democrats as unpatriotic. You have to sign-in for free access (use Google or Facebook), but I'm begging you to read this @esquire article from March 1995, The Right to Bear Sorrow, about a father who accidentally shot and killed his daughter at home. classic.esquire.com/article/1995/3…

So this is super gross, but maybe it's a good time to really explore POW-MIA culture and how it's long been co-opted by a partisan agenda. M.I.A., or, Mythmaking in America is a good book that explores the roots of the post-Vietnam POW-MIA culture and how it was hijacked as a tool to perpetuate the belief that politicians had abandoned Americans overseas and that the American public no longer cared about them.

“The BBC was hesitant to broadcast Richard Dimbleby's report as it contained such strong imagery and needed to be corroborated.

The war correspondent threatened to ‘never broadcast again’ if the report was not played.”
