Yes I'm a Medical Doctor.
Yes I'll probably answer questions from time to time.
Lets do this FOR SCIENCE!

Did you know that Omicron is the 2nd most infectious virus known to man?
Yes, it's that infectious...
Large events are INCREDIBLY dangerous right now, not necessarily JUST for COVID, though, enough biological dice rolls, and you might get an unlucky 1... Which all exposed make
The more insidious aspect of this:
All the other things? Heart attacks, car crashes, meningitis? None of that has stopped... It's still happening, and now they're competing for beds with *checks notes* the 45% of beds taken up by COVID patients...

Honestly, I'm not doing great today.
Yesterday there was a brutally honest staff meeting relating to evaluation about Covid in the US.
I'm already burnt out and having trouble maintaining my current levels of focus and skill. There's a worse emergency on the horizon.
There's not enough beds, let alone personnel to treat the patients in them, to contain what's coming in the next 3 weeks. It's likely to be a nationwide display of what happened in New York, but... With less overall personnel to handle it. Everywhere is getting hit...

The ONLY thing you can trust a known liar on, is the possibility of them lying.
I suspect this is why "decent" folk hate when Millenials verify things being told to them, because the implication they get is "I think you're a liar"
Which, lets be clear, we think -everyone- lies
This may, honestly, be one of the largest things about the generational gap.
We've grown up with promises and been let down by Boomers and Late Gen-X often enough that "I'm gonna need a source on that" is practically a generational motto.
We don't intrinsically trust anymore.

I'm procrastinating paperwork right now.
So instead of doing what I'm supposed to do, I'm going to stereotype various furry twitters by species.
Starting with weasel twitter, which can be summarized by one, single word. "Egg"
Coyote twitter is basically just dumpsters and kegs
Wolf twitter is a pack of packs-of-one who pack together while still claiming to be packless
Dog twitter is... weird...
Badger twitter is basically wolverine twitter, but they hide the good liquor on the top shelf.

So, since we're on the topic of triggers and mental health, how about we clearly define them.
A trigger requires 2 components:
An uncontrollable reaction to a stimuli.
And
The reaction is debilitating.
Trigger jokes throw that second part out the window.
They also often times mock the first part, as it's often times little things that remind a patient of trauma that cause the reaction.
Sometimes it's being off balance just wrong, bright lights, certain sounds in just the wrong tone range. These are not controlled responses.

So hey! It's time to talk about what ADD actually is and what it is not. There's a lot of really bad information out there, and it both makes those afflicted with the condition's lives harder, as well as my own, because parents just love to say "POPULAR MEDIA SUGGEST MY KID..."
So yeah. ADD... It's not LOL I'M SO RANDOM.
It's not SUPER DISTRACTABLE JUST BECAUSE
It's not I'VE GOT SELECTIVE HEARING
It's not I'M BOUNCING OFF WALLS BECAUSE IT SEEMED LIKE A GOOD IDEA AT THE TIME
It's not I'M WAY TOO HAPPY!
