Thread on @BBCNews articles, before it pushed the man-made climate change and Net Zero agenda.

March 2003: Greenland is significantly cooler now than it was 40 years ago, due to natural cycles.

Professor David Unwin, an environmental scientist at Birkbeck College, London - the IPCC was guilty of glossing over many of the uncertainties in climate science.

2006 position after Gore's film: there is a problem, we should do something about it.

2016 position after reading the climategate emails: the problem has been exaggerated and is likely benign.

2023 position after analysing the raw data: the problem has been manufactured. Everyone should start by looking at the raw data and not by listening to stupid activists and the biased media. And definitely not by listening to the government.

100% fraudulent.

Splicing high resolution instrumental data onto low resolution, and averaged, proxy data. Image Not only that:

- upside down data
- individual series cherry-picked depending on whether they go up in the 20thC
- data series that don’t go the “right” way discarded (“hide the decline”)
- contaminated data

Allow the free market to work, it's quite simple. And recognise that top down, state control will ultimately fail, as it always does.

£134 bn paid out in renewable energy subsidies by 2028.

A possible £10 bn paid back via CfDs is like throwing scraps to the dogs.
That's £134 billion pounds in subsidies from 2012 to 2028.
