THREAD: Mark Meadows is a (politically) dead man walking. There is a very good chance he will go to jail regardless of whether or not he cooperates with the Jan 6 Committee. He knows this, and is deliberately making a choice to make his circumstances worse. Why? Were he to cooperate now and show contrition, it might well lessen the chance he will face prosecution or significant jail time. He isn't in office or running for office, so Trump can't hurt him by having him primaried.
