Sitting at anchor off Fujairah in the Gulf of Oman and tanker Front Altair is torpedoed 45 miles away from us, another one Kokuka Courageous is hit 75 miles away. Crazy times! This happened about 0630 Local time (0230 UTC) On the VHF the distress call stated they were under attack and on fire. They had to abandon ship and were picked up by Hyundai Dubai. They were then transferred to an Iranian SAR vessel and Hyundai Dubai continued its voyage.
