1/ A megalithic monument in Spain, older than the Pyramids occasionally emerges from its watery hiding place droughts.

The "Spanish Stonehenge" is about 7,000 years old, some 2,000 years older than Stonehenge itself. 2/ The monument, known as the Dolmen of Guadalperal, is located in eastern Extremadura, Spain. It was discovered by German archaeologist Hugo Obermaier in 1926. In 1963, construction of the Valdecañas reservoir inundated the monument.
