Pundits keep spinning these false narratives. Their latest is the Financial Markets are at war with the Fed. No! How about the Financial markets process forward looking data, and also focus on month over month data. While the Fed focuses on lagging year over year data.
The Financial markets are making the assumption the the forward looking month over month data will eventually works it way into the lagging year over year data. Financial markets are making the assumption that the Fed in 2023 will objectively evaluate the data.
