A little something to cleanse your feed for today. As many know, the City of #Southlake, TX has been at the center of a massive culture storm over the last several years. They’re not alone in this area of NE Tarrant County, but for this thread let’s stay here in Southlake 1/9 My daughter, Lauren, a Jr. Journalism major at @UNTsocial, called yesterday & wanted to grab lunch. As any Dad who’s 20 yr old girl calls to have a lunch date would, I jumped at the opportunity 😍 It was a cold day & we were diggin’ some Pho, so Pho BAE in #Southlake it was 2/9

Our country has seen some mighty dark days. In my lifetime, after most of these days, I’ve watched people from all walks of life come together in some powerful ways.

We usually hear cries of “Never Forget” in commemoration of these tragedies. 1/12 But I find it quite befuddling as to what some choose to “Never Forget”.

With various states passing legislation that seeks to minimize teaching true & accurate history of the United States we must step up and ask:
