How patients can help their FP: A 🧵
Family doctors are drowning (the whole system is collapsing but today we focus on the FPs). Patients are rarely the cause of this but there are a still some small things that they can do that can add up to a lot. What can you do?
Book well in advance. If I ask you to follow-up in 3 months, book that on your way out the door if you can. Because if you call in 3 months, I’ll be seeing you in 4. Set yourself reminders for long-term follow-ups like annual checks so we don’t have to chase you for them

Victims from SK and #JamesSmithCreeNation were taken to hospitals in Melfort and Nipiwin. These two rural hospitals also managed the victims of the Humbolt Broncos crash.
