BETTING AGAINST THE ODDS
Qualitatively, the pattern of voting in the Lagos governorship election will be different from what we just saw. At full resentment, Obidients garnered 582,664 in Lagos. There are at least 200,000 voters who voted Obi & Atiku, who will vote for Sanwoolu. Of 6million+ registered voters in Lagos, a passive 1.4 million have always shown proof of life. From this #, APC would have ~71% at best & 51% worse case scenario. There's ~200,000 voting latency in Lagos. Good a thing Yayi won in Ogun. He needs to return to Alimosho immediately!

VOTE BUYING WITHOUT BUYING VOTES
Whereas we have narrowly adduced cash use to vote buying, paying polling agents, and contigent logistics, many new participants in election will be shocked by a harsh reality on election day. The coming election will be won or lost due to turnout. On the eve of election, volunteers and party reps will find out that many of their supporters don't live in the ward where they are registered to vote. Only a limited number have bothered transferring to the PU close to where they live, bearing in mind there will be no movement.

PETTY CASH POLITICS (POLICY)
Like I predicted during the chaotic deadline of SIM-NIN linkage, CBN should be prepared to make more face-saving extension of its petty deadline for currency swap, as jungle matures. The program will hurt d economy more than it will hurt politicians. Nigeria has an informal economy size of ~57% (% of GDP), occupying 3rd in global ranking after Afghanistan & Zimbabwe. Apart from more than N1trillion cash handling within homeland part of Nigeria's shadow economy, trans-border cash transaction is also a trillion naira blindspot!

OIL THEFT: ANOTHER BANDITRY
I didnt study petroleum engineering, so I dont know if they teach, "how to bolt plidco clamp under heavy artillery gunfight lasting hours in a crocodile infested mangrove, at night. Pipeline tapping/oil theft is a fully armed militia backed operations. Nigeria's production flows through an extensive cobwebs of transfer lines that are as old as 50yrs, buried in the marshes. Some of the tappings being discovered recently have been connected as far back as the military government era, where platforms are like Abacha's courtyard.

FAMILY RELOCATION: THE TRUTH
The current flux of relocating families is a deliberately overlooked sign of an improved economy. In d 90s we can count those who can afford it on our fingers. T'was Dele Momodu's job then to tell us who travelled- "Segun Alawaye Jets Out To London." Japa is a good for those who cant find their feet. Middle class joining this race has its roots in higher income and craze to brag about kids studying abroad. I laugh at how desperately people want their children's accent to change. Its pleasing when they speak and u can't hear.

STOMACH INSTITUTIONS
Lecturers in India earn from 25,000INR ($312)/month to 69,500INR ($869.64)/month, at a national average of $563 monthly. Give the Nigerian federal universities in their current states to Indian academicians and watch what they would do with it in just 2yrs! There are thousands of YouTube resources done by Indians to teach MATLAB, Python, and other kinds of demonstrative learning. Let us all search for and count the number of our lecturers, who demonstrate and document what they teach on YouTube channels or in other forms, online.

DUTY OF CARE FOR PEJU
Peju is young and vibrant, and truly d future of Nigeria is theirs. Just like Nigeria has a duty of care (for security reasons) to its neighbour countries, so also we have duty of care (to refurbish reasoning) to our younger ones without hurting their pride. Peju even tried. I'm impressed that she's aware Nigeria gave N1.4Billion worth of vehicles to Niger, even if such awareness was sought to troll and to magnify the prevailing politics. That video of 'Corpers' not knowing what "quarter to, or half past is,' is tip of the iceberg.

TEMPLES WITHOUT GOD
Max Lucado wrote an analogy in one of his books about how a wealthy King wanted to build an all-gold befitting mausoleum over his late queen's dilapidated tomb. Best of artisans were imported from around the world and the tomb became a huge construction site. Construction continued for months. One day, as the King was going round admiring the magnificence of the ongoing project, he dashed his foot against the edge of a partly buried wooden box. Labourers hurriedly dug it up and twas discarded with other debris somewhere in the forest.

DEMONSTRATION OF CRAZE
Of what use is it if Buhari isnt looting and his Accountant General is found culpable for heisting N109Billion? He also failed woefully against the thrust upon which many of us voted for him. And that's security. His silence is worse than the kidnapping. Image Buhari did well in the areas of roads, trains and all. It is still nuisance that bandits ambush these trains, cart away people's families and the next best thing we are projecting are images of the completion status of the new Niger bridge.
Damn the bridges! Damn the trains!

LOCAL PROBLEMS, FOREIGN MINDSET
If we finally elect a president we hope will fix the country, aspects of our mindset problems will remain. Pondering over Ekweremadu's case, UK headlining it as "organ harvesting," with his child waiting for transplant in their hospital is a low! We are kind-hearted but the beast in us roars when egos clash, over clash in opinion, on airtight politically prejudice. The elites believe hospitals abroad are superior. Masses too believe elites deserved their calamities because hospitals here dont look like what we see on TV.

CONTAINER ISOLATION POLITICS
More than ever before, equitably, an Igbo should be Nigeria's president. If this eventually comes to fruition, Its unlikely that first Igbo president of Nigeria will be from Anambra. This is due to APGA's secessive politics, that produced Peter Obi. "Why are u mentioning Peter Obi if u know he cannot win in 2023?" First of, in the arena of national politics, he has no reckoning, whatsoever! He isn't different from an Abriba importer, operating from a 20 feet container office at Apapa-Wharf, Tinubu's Lagos as y'all call it.

MOUTH CANT DO IT
We dont give shishi. If you're buying one campaign bus for each local govt, that's 774 buses & 774 drivers. Lets not talk about fueling yet, the buses alone will cost about N15Billion! Beyond attacking people, y'all need to start saving your salaries from now on. Bribing voters, is a small part of the cost of an election. Democratic presidential election is very costly, even in America and this is what having structure is. Sadly, Obi has wholesale warehouse of juvenile delinquents, hoping to woo millions of voters with petulant slogans.

NIGERIA vs EGYPT - THE OBITUARY ECONOMICS
It's dishonest that anybody in his right thinking faculty will understudy Egypt, to build Nigeria. As of 2020, Nigeria's GDP was $429.4Billion, Egypt was $364Billion, now $402.8Billion in 2021. Nigeria remains biggest economy in Africa! DEBT: Egypt's government debt is more than twice that of Nigeria.

EVEN IF THERE'S NO SIT-AT-HOME?
At about November last year, Imo state's debt is about N151Billion. Before 2021 ended, the debt grew up to N205Billion, with nothing in the streets of Owerri to show for it. Imo and Abia are oil producing states, that collects 13% derivation fund. Putting an end to sit-at-home shouldnt be @CCSoludo's priority. On days that Igbos are not sitting at home, are businesses making money and do youths have work to do? Traders open their shops and nobody is buying. Onitsha market has lost patronage before IPOB ordered sit-at-home.

Buhari reminds me of kids who get bicycle they cant ride as birthday present. If those who could ride want to show them, they will shout, bite and push them away from d bicycle. They prefer pushing d bicycle everywhere, just to show they have an idea of what to do with d bicycle. His ministers that are performers arent up to 5.
Remove these names from Buhari's cabinet, what u will have left is dead carcass: Sirika, Fashola, Onyeama, Amaechi, the one in Power, though na expatriate consultants dey cover Aliyu shame, with national grid going off like candle.

HOW SOLDIERS DO PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
When I saw narrative about Prof being d lawyer that fought Tinubu's legal battles, knowing this as a part of d tactical attrition to make yorubas implode, I looked away, remembering twas Wole Olanipekun who defended Tinubu at Code of Conduct. Image Like in 1979, I foresee yorubas bitting the dust completely in 2023.
This strategy worked in Shagari's 2nd Republic. Until the Military Generals find a suitable civilian apologist, again, a teleguided pattern to have southwest undo itself from a presidential race is playing out. Image

A CHINESE FARMER & HIS SON
A farmer and his son had a beautiful horse which the family depended on for a living. One day, the horse ran away and their neighbours exclaimed, “Your horse ran away, you are finished. What a misfortune!”
The farmer replied, “Maybe so, maybe not.” Few days later, the horse returned, bringing with him more wild horses to the farm, which the farmer can sell to earn more money. The neighbours shouted out, “Your horse has returned, and brought several horses home. What a great luck!”
The farmer replied, “Maybe so, maybe not.”

CONCENSUS ISN'T FAILURE
Consensus is like a family deciding who uses d bathroom 1st. That u're asked to allow your younger ones 1st doesnt make u weak.
@DOlusegun was asked to concede at a national stage in d presence of d president. There's no better way to fail forward in life! I'm contented with it that the contest for APC's National Youth Leader generated interest at the highest level possible, and that it generated more heat across the nation. The tension & emotions is as a result of the quality of the contestants: Dayo, Olusegun, Rinsola and others.

RUSSIAN PETROL SOUVENIR
On Russia-Ukraine, irrespective of what you feel, what you know and on whose side your sentiments tilted, you cannot claim to know how this will end for the entire human race; not even US! Apart from Russia bombing civilians, and attendant deaths,../1 ctd ..sanctions & counter-sanctions may plunge d world into a spiral economic crisis, food & pharmaceutical shortage, leading to more deaths, and an eventual world war we are avoiding. Sanctions imposed on Russia are reflecting on d world without yet serious Russia's reciprocity../2

PETROL TO BREAD SUBSIDY
At the rate at which Russia is bombing Ukraine, its unlikely there'll be a govt or social order left in Ukraine by end of next week. I wept seeing pregnant women coming out of rubles with bruises after Putin bombed Mariupol Maternity Hospital yesterday. Putin probably had all the sanction moves well thought out and is prepared to drag the world like i-better-pass-my-neighbour. Russia has dropped more than 600 bombs into Ukraine since this conflict started and Ukraine hasn't dropped the smallest of a hand grenade into Russia.
