When I completed my studies, (MCh at the age of 32 years) & returned back to my hometown to practice, I had a paltry sum of 2000/- in my pocket, a digital camera, an old desktop & my basic instruments for my practice.
I decided to join Private Practice and first procedure gave
Me a fees of 700/- (suturing of wound on palm).
My elder brother @VikasSaraswat graciously told me to use the four wheeler at home, so that I could commute to workplace and meet other doctors who generally need help of Plastic Surgeons.

Here I want to share my experience about the Acid Attack Victims I tried to help in my professional career.
A Christian Lady used to bring me some these acid attack victims as I had told her that I will treat them free of cost. In Agra there is Sheroes Cafe (1)
Which is Run By Acid Attack Victims.
I saw around 3-4 such victims from Sheroes Cafe, Agra brought by that Christian Lady
What was surprising is that all of them had some problem or other which precluded their surgery, notable being Anemia (Low Hemoglobin) amongst them (2)
