Ok this is solved apparently. Even though it shows I owe $22,700 I actually owe $158 because it was billed in-network even though it clearly says billed out-of-network. Make sense??? Of course not.
Ah yes of course I owe $22,000 for an epidural because the anesthesiologist at the in-network hospital was out-of-network
Can't wait to spend time and resources on this. Not necessarily worried I'll actually be on the hook for that amount because it is seemingly impossible but we'll see!
