The Unsurvivable Battlefield:
How Technology Strips Away All Defenses

As military technology advances, underground may be the safest place for warring factions.

But drones and flooding could take away even that fallback position.

Image The IDF may well flood each tunnel section without hostages with seawater where its encroachment has already destroyed the aquifer, and with freshwater everywhere else, giving civilians time to flee while destroying these bunkers, transportation corridors, not to mention weapons.

@ericgarland People, I can't even get into the sheer scale of how much traceable evidence is out there on trafficking - human and otherwise.

Mass facial recognition, automated record searches, minute chemical and genetic traces, cryptocurrency, bank transfers...
@ericgarland Every criminal proffering out as a fully cooperating witness, who has to discuss every crime they're *aware* of, or their deal is void.

Automated tracking of counterfeit money.

Millions of people confessing tax evasion via Coinbase et al to the IRS, leading to money laundering.

@ericgarland Let me say something reassuring to people trying to remove 87,000 IRS agents to slow prosecutions into the work of hostile foreign intelligence, treason & organized crime.

It is already far, far too late.

Evidence has been rolling in for years, along with unknowing confessions. @ericgarland We've been treating this 6-year, slow-motion explosion like new geography rather than the snapshot of a blastwave and scattering shrapnel that it is.

It's not just that none of this was sustainable.

It's how much of their reserves our adversaries burnt down to attempt it.

@NatashaBertrand Twitter, it's time we had A Talk about a Ukraine insurgency against Russian occupation.

You'll notice "all this endless talking" has pushed back prospective invasion until at least late January, during the Omicron wave.

A thousand years of Russian history does not bode well... @NatashaBertrand For any who would launch an offensive during Russian winter.

Even for Russians.

Be that as it may, there's another glaring factor involved.

The Javelins.

@McFaul Putin has backed himself into a corner and is facing prospects which look incredibly grim.

Reportedly, as of 2 months ago, only about 20% of Russia had taken any vaccines, almost none of them validated Western doses.

It’s Russian winter, and Delta and Omicron have joined hands. @McFaul Every pillar of Russia’s economy, from fossil fuels to weapons to organized crime to espionage, is either sunsetting or facing fierce headwinds.

Russia is peaking demographically.

China has peaked.

@ericgarland And this isn't a political argument.

Omicron appears to be ripping through the unvaccinated.

People will be convinced, overwhelmingly, soon enough.

We're trying to keep hundreds of thousands more, or even millions, from dying.

Talk to your loved ones about getting vaccinated. @ericgarland Keep the lines open, to family and friends.

Let them know your concerns.

Don't fight. Just share.

A fight you can't win will just lead some to dig in their heels.

But help.

Do their vaccine homework for them.

Let them know you'll feel better if they're safe.

@ericgarland @playmakeralan @Kasparov63 @morsanalytics @InfoProAssn A discussion for another time.

For now, it helps to realize we're well past this "gray zone" nonsense.

If you've sought to overthrow our government, exacerbate a pandemic which killed hundreds of thousands of Americans, etc...

Then SolarWinds and Supermicro are details. @ericgarland @playmakeralan @Kasparov63 @morsanalytics @InfoProAssn If you declare full spectrum warfare on the US, remember what President Biden told Putin - where we know it happened, we will make an equivalent response.

First, most nations couldn't survive most of the major hits we've taken in the past 5 to 10 years, much less walked it off.

@NatashaBertrand @WHCOS Twitter, it's time we had A Talk about Afghanistan.

Nothing speaks to how little resistance Afghans offered like 500 Taliban taking Kabul.

500 Taliban in a city of 6 million people.

They’re literally outnumbered 12,000 to 1.

The heart of the government and military. @NatashaBertrand @WHCOS We didn't even hear any warning shots before they took the place.

That isn't a siege.

That's a handover.

Formal or otherwise.

But let's discuss some other talking points.

“They should have revamped the forms by now.”

@CT_Bergstrom Cambridge Analytica, Russian intel, etc could have blundered into using evolutionary algorithms in psychological warfare.

Evolutionary algorithms take a multitude of programs and throw them at the same problem. You eliminate the ones that fail & mix together those that succeed. @CT_Bergstrom With automated and micro-targeted propaganda it's a similar process, informed by your targets' reactions to your latest efforts, their previous responses and psychographic profile.

You don't just elicit responses.

You drive them to particular decisions or attitudes over time.

@ericgarland @CanadianWizardT And then, as they say, it gets. Actually. Bad.

Realize there's just one vast map of evidence on top of another on top of another, & so on.

All of them integrating together in a whole which is greater than the sum of its parts.

When even *one* of them, *alone,* was apocalyptic. @ericgarland @CanadianWizardT I won't even bother to list them.

That list runs over multiple tweets, just citing the publicly known evidence sources.

This thing could have been eaten alive by everything Eric just mentioned, plus, say...

Cryptocurrency logs. Cell-phone logs. Records of paid botnets.

@ericgarland @ProfPaulPoast I believe we will have a world government.

Either before or *after* the technology for nuclear weapons - and equivalent weapons of mass destruction - is as widespread and easily employed as the technology for an electric toothbrush.

Before leaves us a much larger population. @ericgarland @ProfPaulPoast You will notice with this pandemic, all the research China made in weaponizing coronaviruses since 2015, and the increasing distribution of do-it-yourself biotechnology, that in many ways we're already there.

You'll note I'm doing what I can to give us time.

@ericgarland You can automate the personalized propaganda for each individual, using evolutionary algorithms in psychological warfare.

They haven't just lost this tool with only 10 days left.

They'll struggle to reconstitute it & coordinate across multiple platforms.
@ericgarland These platforms gave white supremacists, conspiracy theorists and foreign-intelligence assets a captive audience without people having to leave a "legitimate" site for some neo-Nazi forum or Russian social media.

Imagine trying to coordinate sedition when social media knows it?

@LincolnsBible While the indifference people are showing not only to strangers but also the lives and health of their friends and loved ones is disturbing, there may be more forces driving this attitude than we imagine.

You already know about the vast, targeted psychological warfare online. @LincolnsBible Allegedly being executed by actors such as Cambridge Analytica, Russian intelligence and other actors, via social media.

But there's another factor, built into this medium.

The steady addiction to the dopamine release of using it.

@ericgarland Can we all pause for a moment to appreciate the sheer genius of dropping this response to Trump's first, insane pardon, as he dangles full, sweeping pardons for *everyone* inside and outside his Administration?

The possibility of state charges puts him, personally, at risk... @ericgarland With *every* pardon.

People like @TheRickWilson, who have studied Trump intensely, realize he is intensely self-centered.

If there is a real possibility that each successive pardon offered in exchange for something - money, silence, loyalty, favors - increases the likelihood...

@TheRickWilson Actually, if you're going to take this conspiracy down, as sprawling as it is, you need more than just ordinary open-and-shut cases.

You want to bring charges for the most shocking and repellent things their worst members have done.

Why? It forces their allies to turn on them. @TheRickWilson You can expect more of their worst deeds to surface in the near future.

Epstein videos? Sexual abuse of actresses? The terabytes of videos of unspeakable acts the @FBI has seized from the Darknet?

All of that and more.
