Something to keep in mind with Travis Smith's arrival to the #Bears.
Yes, he is a student of Rod Marinelli and several others.
He's also got enough different experiences to make his own product. We are not going to see the typical front used in any "Tampa 2" concept.
For example, he's worked with both behemoths and smallish guys at DT. They weren't exactly focused purely on speed or explosiveness like what we saw under Lovie Smith between 2004 and 2012.
Instead, his DTs would be used as gap destroyers to set up his ends for easy 1-on-1's.
