Elissa Slotkin will be the Democratic nominee for senate in Michigan. This isn’t up for debate.
Given this, she is pretty heavily favored to be the next senator from Michigan.

Fuck Sean Patrick Maloney, I am not that sad that he lost reëlection.
He was also high on the bitch scale, and his loss makes the redraw much better.

Thoughts on Dianne Feinstein: 1) She should not have run in 2018. 2) She should have retired ahead of 2020 or 2022. 3) She absolutely should not have been put on the Judiciary Committee. 4) Given that she’s back for now, if she is capable of voting, she should finish her term.
If she were to step down, I absolutely do not trust the GOP to handle her replacement on the Judiciary committee in good faith and I also do not trust Manchin/Sinema to go nuclear if necessary.

I will not stand for Christy Smith hatred. That is a district that is much redder downballot and where the Dem bench is nonexistent, and she was wrongly triaged by the DCCC.
I don’t think you should criticize her without understanding how difficult that area is. It is a place where downballot Republicans routinely outperform the top of the ticket by comfortable margins.
