so predictable that the rich would blame a labour shortage in the service industry on “CERB making it too easy” and not how toxic and precarious the industry is. CERB is $2,000 and taxable. that’s not even a living wage but yes sorry u can’t get a margarita in 5 seconds like i dare u to try serving as ur livelihood — not a 5 minute stint at ur family friend’s country club for a summer job in high school. customers harass servers, sexual assault at work and livelihoods based on tips bc of low wages
