I grew up with the first generation of young African immigrants who broke into Tech in the San Francisco/Silicon Valley area. Folks who worked at Google, Facebook, Uber, etc. Young Africans with six-figure salaries that their immigrant parents could only dream of at their age.
We catered to this demographic in the Bay Area through Afrobeats events and multiple nationalities from across Africa were represented. Ethiopians, Nigerians, Ghanaians, Kenyans, Senegalese, Eritreans, Zambians etc.
