Like most Americans, I am beyond the point of exhaustion when it comes to gun violence in our schools & in our community. 1/ We now live w/ a constant threat of gun violence whose negative ripple effects are felt across our society. On Memorial Day, a block party in Charleston was shot up, 10 injured including several police officers. 2/

The Lowcountry redistricting fight isn’t over!

There is a push from the #Gerrymander crowd to flood the redistricting committee email account.

We must keep CHS county whole & insure competitive districts.

Email redistricting@scsenate.gov before noon tomorrow (Monday) 1/5 Suggested talking points for the 'Whole County Map':

-Keeps most counties in SC whole
- Keeps communities of interest together (like West Ashley)
- Keeps CHS County whole (and in SC-01)
- Maintains the competitiveness of SC-01.
- Keeps SC-01 a 'coastal district'
