How to build massive audience retention in 2025.
Here's the dead simple 3 part framework for you:
1. Build tension
To keep viewers hooked, you need to increase tension.
Here's how:
Step 1: Introduce a problem at the start of each point you make.
You can do this by presenting a challenging question, problem, or situation your viewers want to resolve in their own lives.
This creates curiosity, making them much more eager to find out the solution.

I earned $1,200,000 in one year from my channel.
But it's not rocket science — people just don't know where to start.

You should focus on what grows your channel right? Wrong!
Understand that small channels make more money by focusing on specific, high-return areas.

This is what I've filmed nearly every video on since March 2023, because I threw away everything I owned and became a digital nomad.
This meant I could only use kit that fit in my suitcase.
Here are a few tricks I use to keep production quality high on the move.
1.Make use of natural light.
Without a large softbox, video quality really takes a hit. If you want a quick and easy solution, go and film outside early in the morning or as the sun sets at night.
The light is softer and more flattering, and it requires no setup time at all.

This is why YouTubers need to start putting QR codes in their videos.
Yup, seriously. (Sponsors will probably love this too.) 1/5
Over the last 6 months, I've seen a lot more creators getting increasingly more views from TVs.
You can check this for your own channel by going to your YouTube studio, then “analytics”, then “advanced mode”, and then select “device type”.

There are some really simple marketing mistakes that stop YouTubers from making sales.
Here are 5 super common ones I see time and time again.
(1/8)
#1 Ignoring the community board: This is a great way to communicate an offer to your audience and can even reach people who aren't subscribed.
Use it to let people know about sales, new product launches, and share testimonials to build social proof.

According to Glenn Gers, If you can’t answer these 6 questions then you don't have a story.
Check them out and then tick them off when planning your next video:
#1 Who is it about?
This is about identifying the main character(s) of your story. In most cases, it's you! But remember, you can also share stories about your community or a cause you care about.

I found a long-lost growth strategy that YouTube used to advise. What’s interesting is, it didn’t suggest always trying to “get more views”
And I think it could be 10x more achievable for most creators to follow than always trying to make “bangers”
Here’s how it worked.
🧵/1
✅ Section 1
Produce videos that answer very specific questions your viewers might have, making it perfect for search.
YouTube named this “Help content”.
You won’t get many views on release (or very fast)…

#1 You know that feeling when you're scrolling through #YouTube and you stumble on a channel that's all over the place? It's like walking into a store selling everything from fish food to workout gear. Bizarre, right? 🐠🏋️♂️

My biggest YouTube mistake was underestimating the power of a great title.
Yep, that’s me with the world’s longest YouTube title in 2018.
I fixed this problem and now my channel has grown to 275,000 subscribers.
Here’s how to bring your title game to the next level:
🧵/1 1/ Clarity.
A good title should be clear and to the point.
Clarity sets your story wheels in motion.
It helps you pick the direction of the video and tells your audience what to expect too.
If you have to choose between being clever or being clear: choose clarity.

Everyone knows “storytelling” is supposed to make videos better.
But most YouTubers struggle to use it properly.
In fact, if you try to run before you can crawl, your video could be a disaster.
These are the absolute basics you need to master before you go full Casey.
🧵/1 1/ Structure:
The most common is the three-act structure: Beginning, middle and end.
This helps to add rhythm and pacing to your story and allows you to drop in some nice plot twists along the way!
