BOWING DOWN TO GREET ELDERS AND SCHOLARS.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah said:

With regard to bowing when greeting someone, it is not allowed, as it was narrated in at-Tirmidhi that they asked the Prophet (pbuh) about a man who bowed when he meets his brother.

1/4
He said: “No (do not do that).” That is also because it is not permissible to bow or prostrate except to Allah.

As a Muslim Parent, before you take your child to any University, be sure that the University respects their right to Practice their religion.
Ask Muslim students in the school and don't just come and say "They said there's Freedom of Religion in their handbook". The Reports we've been getting from Afe Babalola Uni over the years have been terrible and I'm surprised how Muslim parents still take their kids there.
Our daughters are being forced to take off their hijabs, a University so anti-Islam.

Until the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) sits down, calls all it's 55 Members and form coalitions on various fronts i.e Economic, Military etc, then all of these will not stop anytime soon. Do Business amongst yourselves to foster Economic Growth. Form a Military Coalition similar to NATO. One Exists already called IMCTC, but tbh, it seems not to be functioning sef. Take it seriously.

Until these coalitions are formed, and not coalitions with the West,

Trace back Late Bashir Today's history and it will lead you to Maiduguri (Kanuri), but he was accepted and respected in Kano. One of the biggest Kano Politicians of that time.

Gov. Abdullahi Muhammad Abubakar is said to be an Ebira Man from Kogi state, but he governed Bauchi
1/ Nobody ever spoke about his tribe in Bauchi until he fumbled and they got angry that they gave he (an Ebira Man) the mandate of the Bauchi people and he did not live up to the mandate.

A lot of other examples exist.
Do you want to talk about your VP, Datti Baba-Ahmed?

RE: The NIGERIA-NIGER RAILWAY: Can Nigeria recoup the $2Bn back?

I've seen lots of people ask "Can the government recoup it's money back?", "Is the region an economic region?", "How much Trade is done within the region?" etc.

We'll find out!😃

(A Short Thread).
1/ Kano has an estimated population of 15M, Jigawa has est. 5M, and Katsina an estimated 6-7M.
This means that 26-27M Nigerians should be (directly or indirectly) influenced economically in the project.

The Nigeria-Niger $2Bn Dollar Rail.

I see a lot of tweets which refer to the railway to Niger as wasteful and unnecessary. Is it actually unnecessary? We'll find out!

A THREAD
1/
How Long is the Rail?
378KM.

The Kano-Maradi Railway Line will have a 284km stretch of track connecting Kano-Jigawa-Katsina-Maradi, while a 94km spur will connect Dutse to Kano.
Note: The rail from Jibiya (Katsina) to Maradi(Niger) is only 25KM.

Not necessary.
You can't force people.
Rather, the cars shared by the Govt to NASS members should be Nigerian Made.
In the Governors and President Convoy, there should be Nigerian Made Cars. Only countries like UK (they mostly use Range Rovers with is UK made), US (Ford & Chevys), Japan (mostly Toyotas), Germany (Benz) and some few others make use of homemade vehicles fully.
Even the Chinese President has Peugeot (French), Range Rover(UK)...

NIGERIA'S SECURITY SUPPORT TO NIGER: How is it Important?
A Thread.

The insecurity problems in Nigeria increased after the killing of Libya's president, Maumar Gaddafi in 2011.
Libya used to be a very strong country, with tight security and strong territorial control.

1/
Things changed after Gaddafi died. The country entered a state of turmoil, one which they've not been able to leave till now.
Right now in Libya, it's like there's no Government.

For a country to move, we need a Pro-politician with touches of technocracy to rule (and not the otherway round).
In ministries, like Finance, Science & Tech, Works, Transport, Education etc, we need Technocrats with touches of politics (if available). The problem is when you appoint politicians to run these kind of ministries.
For a ministry like Foreign affairs, we need a politician with high knowledge of diplomacy.

So like I was saying, politicians without any form of technocracy shouldn't be heading ministries.

I made a THREAD on HDI the other day. Today, I want to compare the Poverty Alleviation during the Tenure of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Gov of Lagos and Peter Obi as Gov of Anambra.

A Thread.

1/ The National Bereau of Statistics (NBS) released statistics of the National Poverty Rates in Nigeria in 2003-2004 and released another one for 2010. We'll do a comparison.

According to some Obidients, Peter Obi alleviated poverty in Anambra. Let's fact check that.

It can't be made Mandatory, but we should task all our top candidates to attend. It cannot be Constitutionally mandated, but we can make it mandatory customarily, just like in the US.
Also, those interviews from @KadariaAhmed last time were good. After the debate and top interview of Pres & VP, an unbiased independent body should take up the task of properly translating them (not direct translation, but nitty-gritty translation, for good understanding). It should be translated to Yoruba, Hausa, Fulani, and Igbo languages

Nigerians need to commend people like El Rufai, who when they put their hands on a certain work, they do it well.
It's not about how many roads you constructed, it's about HOW GOOD AND QUALITY ARE THEY?

Eleyi Peter Obi said he constructed 800KM of roads. Okay, that's nice,

1/
But, what's the quality of those roads today?
It has been said that he built a good road network to rural areas (most of which don't have drainages/gutters)... today, Water has destroyed lots of those roads. Why?
Because my main said he is frugal and doesn't want to spend.

Anambra has the best HDI (according to PO supporters). Let's discuss.
What is HDI?
The Human Development Index is a statistic composite index of life expectancy, education, and per capita income indicators, which is used to rank countries into four tiers of human development.

1/
In an evaluation from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in 2016, Lagos ranks 1st, while Anambra ranks 18th.

The Life Expectancy rate in Anambra is barely above that of states like Plateau and Benue at 0.433. The GNI per capita is 860 USD, not even close to...

I respect Datti Baba Ahmed, but one thing I want to point out is that, he was a Senator from 2011-2012.

WHY THE SHORT TENURE?
His election was overturned by the tribunal and the real Winner, Makarfi of the PDP was given the ticket.

A THREAD.

1/
The election tribunal embarked on the re-counting of the ballot papers due to a request by the petitioner, Ahmed Makarfi, PDP.

Makarfi claimed that the election was rigged in favor of Datti Baba-Ahmed of the CPC, and prayed the tribunal to order the recount.

Just some moments ago, Some people did classify Northern Muslims as their Brothers, as peaceful people etc., they even tried to send Hijabs and Prayer Mats to the North...If they had their chance that time, they'll even send Tasbih beads etc...

1/ These same people who have claimed that Northern Muslims are their brothers, just because of politics, are the same people under the comments of this post showing their true colours and Hate towards Islam. They mock and insult the religion...that's what they love to do.

This multi-religious families can be seen amongst ppl in the North-east, North-central too. Including my Ebira Extended Family.
But what u stated below is not 'Religious Tolerance', it is basically just compromising on your beliefs.

1/7 I have Christians in our extended family, they come to our house (a house built upon Islamic Monotheism), they pray peacefully in the mornings, we give them privacy to do their thing in the room, but that doesn't mean we'll go to church together on Sunday,

When u find out, u'll see that those Northerners who think Kayode cannot be Muslim also lack d basic knowledge of Deen and lack exposure in it's totality, and that's not a Northern Mindset, that's the mindset of anyone who isn't exposed to even basic knowledge.

ANOTHER THREAD😅 I once recited to an Eygptian Friend and he was surprised that A Nigerian Man did recite the way I did.
Why did he have this Mindset? Lack of Exposure, he never knew non-arabs who didn't visit Arab counties could recite very good.

When you say Most, I disagree with you.
Wallahi just try to conform to the Teachings of the Deen and we good.
Not only Yorubas, but also people from like Edo, Ebgira, Igala etc complain of this.
But the fact is, there's a fault of both sides.

A THREAD The Hausa Man isn't meant to see the Yoruba/other tribes in general as Second Class Muslims as the Prophet (SAW) has said "An Arab isn't better than a Non-Arab"

Also, the Muslim in general, if he doesn't want to be looked down upon should study the Deen and act accordingly
