Of course there are still problems with checking EU imports into the EU, 4 years after Brexit.
This is not news in itself, but the way in which this happens allows for some observations:

..firstly the question: Why is it so difficult to establish these controls?
That is really a question because UK is not completely incompetent, and every other nation manages this.
My take: The UK has still not internalised Brexit. UK gov still does not believe it...

- UK left EU because it could not dominate, it refused to cooperate with others, and it still does.
- UK to this day tries to impose its will on Ireland, and can barely conceal that it...
