🌡️🏅OLYMPIC WARMING: #ClosingCeremony in #Paris2024 is tonight & it may be too hot for the games to return there.

Since the last time Paris hosted in 1924, the city warmed 5.5°F during the #OlympicGames period in just 100 years.

#climatematters @ClimateCentral @CNN Image 🌡️🏅OLYMPIC WARMING: This means that Paris has added ~120 more scorching days over 86°F & ~80 more sweltering nights over 68°F.

Extreme heat not only gets hotter during the day, but provides little relief at night for athletes & visitors.
