NEW: Denver police received a tip a year ago that the Denver/Lakewood gunman might commit a terrorist attack. The tipster said he hoped to prevent violence. DPD investigated, but say they didn't have enough evidence to arrest or monitor him.

More: denverpost.com/2022/01/04/den… The tipster is a German guy, Andre Thiele, who was a fan of the gunman's books and contributed to the gunman's Patreon. Because he was a paying member, he got access to a chatroom with McLeod and other paying fans.

BREAKING: Aurora releases the investigation it commissioned into the death of Elijah McClain at the hands of city police and fire. Notable: Investigators hired by the city were not able to interview the officers or paramedics involved in Elijah McClain's death. Unclear who denied that access - the individuals themselves or the agencies. They did interview other staff.
