@deesnider @PaulStanleyLive Hello, after having read Paul's tweet, I don't think anyone has properly explained why he got it wrong in this case. So please, allow me to explain and bear with me while I do. Because the confusion on the topic is easy and just criticising people when they get it wrong is not helpful. Furthermore, I have the greatest respect for both of you not just for what you've achieved professionally but also for how you contribute to society on matters outside of music.

1/..Even before the list of "approved countries" is updated, they've already stepped up the "hostile environment" for certain minorities: I used self-id to have my identity updated (I'm belgian). I sent my new passport & birth certificate to the home office, this was their reply: Image 2/.. First of all, home many identity documents do they think I have? My birth certificate even had a QR code on it that allows the home office to verify my identity with the Belgian authorities.

Current staff of Tavistock - which will close in a matter of weeks - have written an open letter. They raise valid concerns and are left with many questions and uncertainty. To me it's quite clear Tavistock will be used as a political football by removing the service without providing with the new service centers as recommended by the CASS review. We're really at a point where the government and all those supporting the Gender Critical movement are showing their true nature. This rhetoric isn't new. It's a rehash. You want to know who wrote the playbook? Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf supported by Goebbels as propaganda minister in 1933. It would form the basis of the Holocaust: dehumanizing, stigmatizing and creating a hostile atmosphere towards certain communities such as jews, Slava, Roma and yes including gay, transgender and lesbian people too, who all ended up in the same concentration kamps. Key difference being that when the allies liberated the camps, those people that were part of the gay, lesbian and trans community

To the Labour leadership, in particular @Keir_Starmer it was only last week that the nation took time to reflect upon the atrocities of the Holocaust. You clearly said this must never happen again. Barely a week has passed since that message and right now we are witnessing How in the USA there is currently a true avalanche of legislation being pushed through, that is intended to completely remove transgender people from society and criminalise anyone that seeks to assist in providing gender affirming care. That movement is directly linked

@EilishMccolgan Quick education and then you can continue to believe whatever lies it is that they've told you.
1) a 1% difference between 2 athletes can be as simple as one being 5'8" versus a 6'0" runner. Point being: in competition nobody is completely even. 2) since 2003 transgender athletes have been allowed to compete. So far, we have captured a whopping zero medals. Out of nearly 71000 olympic competitors, less than a dozen were trans. And those that made it, usually ended dead last in their discipline.
