This thread has been a long time coming, but it’s finally time to talk about my psych thesis:

“Why are People Such Dicks Online?: a dissertation on call out culture and why queers seem so keen on repeatedly shooting ourselves in the collective foot” 1/ I came to this thesis (in gd 2015!!) from a place of hurt. I belong to a number of marginalized identities, and I keenly understand the need to push back against power used badly—the ephemeral hope for accountability. 2/
