One of the biggest things I hate about the system we currently live in is the neverending drive towards more. More consumption, more profit, more more more. It's honestly disgusting and destructive. It is the worst possible model in terms of quality of life and peace of mind amongst the general public. It sacrifices public interests and public security, for the sake of private interests. It rewards and encourages selfishness and ungratefulness for what one already has.

It's so blatantly obvious why they're pushing for this bill, especially when you look at the concerns that supposedly brought this into being in the first place. Every concern they leveled at Mr. Chew, the CEO of TikTok, is just as bad if not worse on every other social media platform. They're issues with the industry itself. In fact Mr. Chew was very patient, transparent, and forthcoming, and seemed truly invested in solving those issues
