In his anti-Bergsonian article "The Philosophy of Bergson" he caricatures Bergson's position on maths claiming that for Bergson "logic and mathematics do not represent a positive spiritual effort" /1 He makes Bergson out to be this anti-maths fool who thinks "Incapacity for mathematics is ... a sign of grace" and sardonically adds "fortunately a very common one" implying Bergson is mathematically illiterate.
